Chapter 4: Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information

Our company, in principle, destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved. The procedures and methods for destruction are as follows:

  1. Destruction procedures:

    • Information entered for membership registration, etc., is transferred to a separate DB (or a separate file in the case of paper) after the purpose is achieved and is stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws before being destroyed. Personal information transferred to a separate DB is not used for any other purpose except where required by law.

    • Personal information stored in electronic file formats is deleted using technical methods that make the records unrecoverable.
 

Chapter 5: Provision of Personal Information

Our company does not use or provide users’ personal information beyond the scope specified in the terms and conditions without prior consent. However, the following cases are exceptions:

If a user requests correction of personal information, the information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. If incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the results of the correction will be promptly notified to the third party to ensure the correction is made.

Our company processes personal information that has been terminated or deleted at the request of the user as described in “Retention and Use Period of Personal Information” and ensures it cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose.
